All puppies have been sold to working Schutzhund homes
All five pups are being introduced to all three phases of Schutzhund in their new homes. They show excellent scenting ability (tracking). Exhibit exceptional focus and are very handler oriented (obedience). We are also seeing excellent biting behavior (protection). We will continue to update the puppy blog and post their achievements. Gjeter is an exceptional European import bitch out of Belgian and
West German Working lines. Her pedigree is full of top European producers. Her famous sire, Ufo van Guy's
Events (WUSV).
Gjeter shows good structure and type. Her high drives and athletic abilities are suited for most canine field sports. She is currently competing in Schutzhund and has achieved the highest level twice. She represents what to look for in a great working bitch. She is a joy to be around and has a solid temperament. She enjoys people and loves playing with children of all ages. We are fortunate to own her and look forward to continuing competition at the Regional Level.

In looking for a Stud, type and temperament were a high priority but equally important was the health of the dog. Kway not only has longevity coming from his father Asko; he also has a strong family history on his father and mother side for producing normal hips and he has already proven to produce normal hips himself. His steady temperament, clarity and solid nerves are what set him apart from many others. His strong pack drive and willingness to please are a nice balance to his tendency to dominate. While visiting him I had the chance to see him interact with his own pup; it was a true testament to his stability. In fact special mention of his exceptional temperament is made in his breed survey.
Both dogs are KK1 and Kway’s breed survey is for life. The bite work evaluation was fundamental in the final decision to grant each dog a KK1. Additionally a line breeding on Greif zum Lahntal came highly recommended by SV Judge Wilfried Scheld during Gjeter's breed survey. He stated that this particular line breeding should produce excellent progeny. Scheld looked favorably upon the idea of a line breeding on Greif through Marc vom Herkulesblick. Both dogs were in his region and he knew them well. Marc was an exceptional dog that was driven, had a strong will to please and was known for his solid nerves and steady temperament. He also had a solid history of normal hip production.

Kway is now proving to be a successful producer
as well. His progeny have very high drives, excellent pack drives; a
biddable nature and have very intense focus. Protection looks very
promising for these youngsters. The feed back is that they have very
calm, full grips and are always clear; the aggression and power is
definitely there. They are also companions living in their owner’s
homes, super confident and social. Dogs that can be taken anywhere. They have been found to be forgiving and have been placed with novice to experienced handlers.
Just like Kway, they have solid nerves and temperament. They are
showing good structure and type. Additionally x-rays of
